She has always had a love for singing, her inspiration came from listening to Barbra Streisand, Shirley Jones, Karen Carpenter, Ann Murray, Whitney Houston, Doris Day, Patsy Cline, Gloria Estefan and Madonna to name a few. Her vocal training began in 2nd grade where she performed her first duet. She has trained with Linda Johnson, Pam Droste, Gloria Elliott and David Price. She performed the National Anthem at a few Basketball and Football games, had the lead in her High School Musical, "The Fantasticks", and sang a solo at her High School Graduation.

Professional Career

Her training in both dance and singing led to her acceptance into the Musical Theatre Department at Otterbein College. In 1993 Miss Nicole established Far East Dance (now known as Dreaming of Broadway Dance Lessons) and now touches the lives and inspires over 100 students each session. In 1996-1997 she co-hosted a local karaoke show. From 1999-2002 she performed with Columbus’ Vaud-villities as a dancer/singer which gave her opportunities to perform for a Victoria Secret Promotional Campaign, Consumer Choice Awards and various other conventions. She has volunteered singing at the Wexner Jewish Center Cottage Nursing Home and the Top Restaurant. Her professional singing career began in 2011 where she was the co-lead singer for the Back Porch Swing Band lead by Pete Shew.

Although Miss Nicole wishes to continue teaching dance to children, she also would like to pursue her singing career. She hopes that your children benefit from her knowledge of dance and theatre to acheive their dreams of performing and she hopes that she can entertain and brighten the lives of those who listen to her singing.
